F1 2023: How to watch Grand Prix live, Canadian GP

Could Mercedes be back in the running at last? That was the question on everyone's lips after the team scored a second and third-placed finish in Barcelona. They will be hoping to keep up the improved performances at the Canadian Grand Prix. 

In terms of the Driver's Championship, Max Verstappen looks unstoppable at the moment but if Mercedes can build on Barcelona and Perez continues to struggle then perhaps the Constructor's title might not be such a procession this year.  

Certainly, Lewis Hamilton, who missed didn't win a race for the first time in his career last season, will be desperate to put that right and with 7 past wins in Canada he has a chance. 

Aston Martin has been the closest to challenging Red Bull this season but looked seriously off the pace in Spain with Stroll and Alonso finishing 6th and 7th. Spare a thought however for poor Charles Leclerc who rolled in 11th after not feeling comfortable with the car all weekend. 

Where is the next F1 Grand Prix?

After Canada, Formula One will be heading back to Europe for the Austrian Grand Prix. Red Bull's home race, this is a track that has produced some classics in the past.  The race weekend starts on the 30th of June.

How to watch F1 live in the UK

The Canadian Grand Prix and every other race of the season will be shown on Sky Sports F1. 

Channel 4 will show free highlights after the race, and will also have the British GP live this season.
